in the midst of graduation stress, getting shouted out for miscommunications with high school beaurocracy, crazily preparing for the biggest show on the planet, i got this in my email inbox.

it's from esther, our ypn steering committee member (bottom, left). since her experience at the north american youth leaders for a sustainable future conference, esther has transformed. she has given up her bullying ways, is doing better in school, and her self confidence is up.

yesterday, she also found out that she won a bank of america community foundation internship and $10,000 scholarship. she gets to choose an organization to donate extra funds to from the foundation, and guess what she wants to do with those funds...give it to the ypn.

so i guess all this build up is worth it. just as much for the photo montage as for the funds that will allow her to attend college nearly debt-free.
