juice

oh me, oh my. i wish i had some good pictures to describe what i am feeling today. the emotions are thick, ripe n' juicy, so much that i can't begin to tell you all what's gone down. but i'll try...

there are three things to know about this past week:

1. i've just gotten a job at the california center for civic participation as the san francisco rep for their initiative - youth for a sustainable future. this could mean that i have a job for next year in canada, california and mexico. it could also mean major $$ for the young planners network. this craziness has left me with little desire or time to focus on extraneous schoolwork...only the most essential will be accomplished on that end.

2. i went to see the mighty diamonds at ashkenaz on wednesday nite. i wish i had some good pics from the show, but my camera is no bueno, and so i'm waiting on some loaners from my friend dapo. great show, good times.

3. last nite i went to an architecture party that started off f-u-n. then the ex rolled up, started making out with this chick right in front of my very eyes! what a jerk! the original title of this blog was "men are whores" but i decided to throw out the negativity, and just let the words and truth flow out.

so now, i'm sitting here in the livingroom, about to start my reading out in the backyard on this beautiful saturday. later, i'm going to a party with a new friend with hopes of getting over the drama, and maybe even dancing it out a little. this is a pic of a site in temescal oakland that i am studying to understand what makes a vital neighborhood center.
