PDX

Hey All,

Day two of the trip to the Pacific Northwest, we spent the day in the great city of Portland. PDX is a model city in many ways - transportation is very public (and green), there are farmers markets daily, forests in the city (you know I love that one!) and lots of friendly public spaces. While the city is not very diverse, it has a lot going for it.

My favorite part of Portland was the feeling that it was more of a large town than a small city...like nature was the boss, and city-dwellers were just visiting.
