i just got back from a crazy two day, slightly stuffy nosed affair down in so-cal, los angeles to be exact. there, i surprised my beautiful mother on her birthday. there she was, celebrating at dinner, little did she know...
her reaction was less shock, more confusion. while my heart was speeding along, hers was like, "what are you doing here?!?" we were blessed with two great days of motherly love. eating delicious foods, walking down venice beach, henna tattoos all over the place, even fruit with chili powder for el gripe. i even got to see my superb newly engaged friend, mc.
my mom once told me that she was a meter maid when the beatles wrote that famous song. if i knew my mom back then, i would believe it! she was a killer then, and she still is!
