hey,

just got home from teaching the kids, and boy am i beat. today, we took a tour of san pablo avenue. thru five cities we rode, on the public bus, getting on and off, on and off. we ended up in fruitvale, eacting tacos deliciosos and hanging out together. some students had never been there before...others opened up in a different, non english-speaking environment.

i would post pictures of the kids, but all i've got for today are two beauties of shasta, and funny one of weed, california. hopefully, i'll have a picture from the top of this mountain one day.

i'm off for a nap...
