hi there,
off to bed in a moment, but wanted to post a quick pic of the plentiful veggies from today. we harvested ten varieties for the CSA boxes hoy: carrots, tomatoes, cauliflower, basil, chard, fennel, zucchini, cucumbers, peppers and string beans. for $12 a box, these members are some lucky folks!
tomorrow, its up at 6 am to start packing up the boxes. no doubt, there will be naptime at 1 pm again!
still enjoying the farm life. these days seem long, i get to work with my hands, work with my brain for a bit, work with my body in the swimming hole in afternoons, and then drink home-brewed elderberry wine in the eves. wisconsin is surely unique.
