cuatro dias

hi folks,

again, about to fall into bed. today was another exciting day at the farm. awoke at 7 am to harvest basil, chard and create the CSA boxes. they were so beautiful!

at around 8:15, tony's brother ben came over with heartache abound. he wasn't the only one...it seems that i am the only person out here no drama to deal with (phew!). people are crying, fighting, making up, laughing, and loving again. lucky for me, goldie the dog likes to escape with me on long runs down the flat, straight roads of athens. so straight that i can run with my eyes closed and backwards too.

tonight, we went out to the athens fair. day one of the fair, and it was booming. i only rode a single ride tonight, but i did eat fresh ice cream (we drank fresh milk today too, see tony in the picture retrieving it?!). tomorrow, there will be more food, rides, harvesting for the farmers market on saturday morning, and hopefully less fighting and more loving.

i know i'm just trying to chill ;)
