my view

last week in richmond, our focus was public health, environmental justice, and access to food. we watched some movies, played in a stream, had some heated discussions, and ate lots of delicious veggies.

this topic seemed to get under the kids more than others did. they felt personally affected on a much more real level by the way that their environment was affecting their person. they were scared.

today, i went up to sacramento to interview with my future boss and his coworkers. the job is going to be pretty amazing - working nationally with youth engagement professionals and kids to create healthier cities. lots of traveling about!

and last nite, i had a housewarming party. it was fun, and i got left with a big bowl of homemade mango salsa...mmmmm

tomorrow, a visit to good old bass lake and alamere falls in point reyes. very nice ;)
