Hey,
Last week, my students presented at City Hall. It was a long, hard journey, full of self- and community-reflection. The students were asked to work within a neighborhood they didn't feel a part of - a neighborhood they actually felt excluded from. In the end, they presented their feelings, their questions, and they asked City Council for some answers.
Students were nervous, practiced hard, forgot their cards at home...but in the end they prevailed. I think City Hall listened!
