hiya,

there's a new baby in this world...and for now, his name is peanut blaustein. born in chicago, illinois on february 24, this beautiful baby boy has just become the son of my two very close friends, dylan and gabriel.

it wasn't easy making this situation a reality. thoughts, actions, waiting, worrying...it took several months of labor. but now, all of this beaurocracy has fallen to the wayside, and real parenting can begin.

makes you think about what it means to be a family. and how many of us have unique tales to tell...

it's 10:11 here in the cali lands. i've just finished cooking yummy food, and now i am so tired that my head rests on my knee as i write this blog entry. i'm missing my loved ones right now, but i've also just realized that i have three more months of this life before me...and then...
