today, i officially became a californian.
on this late october, mid-fall day i took my first dip in the pacific ocean.
the waves were huge, the ocean cold. but the heat of the 80 degree sun warmed my body just enough so that i didn't freeze.
while i was wading, i saw a seal shuffle by. its little black head bobbing above the water.
these pictures were taken on the way home.
